I had slight synchronicity around this post; as I downloaded tinder again, I was only on there for a week and deleted it yesterday. I wasn't looking for sex but rather a connection. It was authentic in my opening message with a match and was instantly unmatched, which is okay. However, I feel this way about Instagram as well. I'm at a fascinating point in my life at 33, where I don't know where to meet people that want deeper forms of relation. I am sure I am not the only one going through this. I am optimistic, and at least I have a good connection with myself.

Thanks for this Alex, great piece. I decided to make a commitment to commitment in February after realising I was caged by the endless possibility. As highlighted in your article, the closest we can get to freedom is having constraints based on our values. This message is crucial. Keep up the special work

Wow. With an article criticizing the internet and its communities, it took a long time for a subscriber to your channel, and a long time (pre-pandemic) follower to get to a point to give you a comment. Wow.

Awesome analysis and melding a myriad of sources to synthesize (as much as it can be synthesized given its length and breadth)a source problem with the very medium we are utilizing.

Bravo. There are aspects that I wished you elaborate further upon, but I will look these aspects up.

Thank you and your team for doing this works you have chosen to do. Thank you for making me think harder. Thank you for making me feel I'm not alone.

Cheers.
